Wanted accused arrested in Puwaiyan: Court sends him to jail for refusing to deposit ₹3.20 lakh on recovery warrant
The Puwaiyan police in Shahjahanpur arrested a wanted accused and produced him in court, where he was sent to jail. This action was taken under a recovery warrant issued by the Chief Justice of the Family Court, Pilibhit. Police detained Munendra Kumar, son of Sant Kumar, a resident of Jeva village, Puwaiyan police station, in connection with a recovery warrant case related to the Dayuria police station in Pilibhit district. Showing the recovery warrant, he was asked to deposit Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand, but the accused refused to deposit any amount. After refusing to pay the money, the accused was arrested and presented before the court. The court remanded him in judicial custody. The team that arrested the accused included Sub-Inspector Dharmendra Kumar and Head Constable Dhirendra Kumar.
